Services

We provide website design, hosting, SEO services, and digital marketing solutions for small-town service providers. Our services include a guaranteed Page 1 Google ranking as outlined in the SEO Guarantee section. This service is designed exclusively for service providers operating within a single city. The website provided will focus solely on one service, making it unsuitable for multi-service businesses or those requiring multiple locations. While we can accommodate additional services or locations, please note that doing so will void the sea guarantee associated with this offer.

SEO Guarantee

Our guarantee applies to towns with populations under 60,000. To qualify:

• You must complete the full 12-month subscription without cancellation.
• If we fail to deliver Page 1 Google rankings within 12 months, you may request a refund.
• Refund requests must be made during the 13th month. After this period, the guarantee expires.
• If Page 1 of Google rankings for any industry related search terms are achieved before the 12 months are complete, the job is considered a success, and no refund will be provided.
• Device-Specific Rankings: Page 1 Google rankings may initially occur on either mobile or desktop search results but not always on both right away. As long as the website achieves Page 1 rankings on at least one device type, the SEO guarantee is considered fulfilled.

Website Design and Hosting

• Custom Website Design Only
  All websites created by Rank Your Site are built from our legacy system and customised to the client’s specific needs. We do not work on existing websites or use templates supplied by clients.

• Hosting Under Our Control
  We maintain full control of the hosting environment to ensure security, performance, and compatibility. Clients can manage their own domain or have Rank Your Site handle it.

• Domain Management Responsibility
  Clients managing their own domain are responsible for timely renewals. Rank Your Site accepts no responsibility for expired domains due to missed payments. If we manage the domain, its renewal is guaranteed as long as yearly payments are made. Domain fees are billed separately and may increase annually.

• Domain Transfers
  Clients can request a domain transfer at any time, provided the domain is active. We will facilitate the process upon request.

• No Unauthorised Edits
  Clients may not directly edit their website unless explicitly agreed in advance. Unauthorised edits are the client’s responsibility if they disrupt functionality or design.

• Exclusive Use of WordPress, Elementor, and Approved Plugins
  We exclusively use WordPress with Elementor and familiar plugins to ensure quality and performance. Rank Your Site does not work with external or unfamiliar plugins.

• Full Creative Control
  Rank Your Site retains full control over the website’s design and functionality to ensure the highest quality results.

• No Third-Party Involvement
  Third-party designers, developers, or agencies may not interfere with any part of the design or development process to maintain consistency and security.

• Service Renewals
  The service must be renewed on time to ensure uninterrupted functionality and avoid any disruptions to your website or domain. Late or missed payments could result in service suspension, loss of access to the website, or even forfeiture of the domain. Staying consistent with renewal deadlines is critical for maintaining SEO progress, as downtime can negatively impact search rankings, user experience, and overall online visibility.

• Visitor Limit
  The website allows up to 10,000 visitors per month. Should you exceed this limit, we may charge for extra visitors separately.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the agreement with a written notice via email.

Subscription Cancellations

If a client cancels their subscription, the website will be deactivated immediately after the subscription ends. Rank Your Site does not retain any backups or files after cancellation.

Website Retention After Cancellation

Clients wishing to retain ownership of their website after cancelling must submit a written request before cancellation takes effect. Failure to do so will result in permanent deletion of the website with no recovery options.

Portfolio Use

Unless a Portfolio Exclusion Fee is paid, Rank Your Site reserves the right to showcase completed websites in its portfolio.

Logo Design

Clients must provide their logo. Logo design services are available for an additional fee.

Content Writing and Creation

Content writing is not included in our standard packages. Rank Your Site does not provide industry-specific text or images unless contracted separately. If no content is supplied, generic AI-generated text and stock images can be used as placeholders.

Payment Terms

Payments are non-refundable except under the guarantee terms. Cancellation requires notice before the next billing cycle.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel at any time. However, cancelling before completing 12 months will void the SEO guarantee. If you cancel, you can request a copy of your website within 7 days. After that, we will no longer retain a copy of your website.

Limitation of Liability

Rank Your Site’s liability is limited to the service fees paid by the client. We are not responsible for indirect damages or loss of profits.

Dispute Resolution

All disputes are governed by New Zealand law and are subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.

Exclusive Control Over Website Copy and Presentation

Rank Your Site retains exclusive control over the copy and presentation of the website to ensure it is optimised for achieving Page 1 Google rankings. Our expertise in crafting SEO-driven content and layouts is critical to delivering the promised results. Should the client wish to modify, edit, or interfere with the copy or presentation, we can accommodate such requests. However, please note that any changes made outside our recommendations or approval will void the SEO guarantee. This ensures that the website’s design and content remain consistent with the strategies required for optimal search engine performance.

Subdomains

Subdomains are treated as separate websites. They are not included in the standard fee and may require an additional payment for design, hosting, and SEO services. Clients must request subdomain services explicitly, and additional charges will apply based on the scope of the work.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page.
